Differentiation That Lasts

April 2025

When I founded Sellick Partnership in 2002, I had a vision for what the kind of business I wanted to grow, and how to make it better than our competitors.

But, like many first-time entrepreneurs, I had little clarity on how to lead it financially. Over the years I learned lots of lessons - many from making mistakes. And by the end we, as a team, were pretty good at it.

Next Thursday, April 24th, I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned building a business and especially the financial demands required, alongside the brilliant Nives Feely  and Daniel Healey.

I’ll be talking about…

✅ Building differentiation that actually lasts
✅ Managing people and numbers with clarity
✅ Preparing for growth or exit long before you’re “ready”

I hope it'll be interesting and enjoyable for anyone running or planning to run a profitable, scalable, and respected recruitment business.

Its from 3-5pm at the Afflecks Arcade in Manchester and tickets are completely free and you can register here: https://shorturl.at/ARYIs

Thanks to Sam Hardy and George Bristow for setting it up.

Hope to see you there. Cheers, Jo.
