Wallacespace
Sales function review, 2024–25
Jo Sellick with Renata Wallace, Founder and Owner, Wallacespace
In their words
“I’ve known Jo Sellick for years and watched him build his business from a few people in one office to the powerhouse that it is now. We saw him firsthand working hard and smart. He was rigorous and successful and he’d built a great team around him.
“When we wanted some of that focus, we called Jo. He helped us review and improve the way our sales team was structured. We wanted a sounding board and a sanity check: How did you do it? What worked for you and why? What are we doing well, less well and what should we change? Why and how? What have we missed? What are the implications of…?
“Working closely with Jo gave us the knowledge and confidence we needed. In a challenging and changing business world, we were able to move forward with focus, pace and direction. You were a great help. Thanks Jo.”

The business
Wallacespace runs creative spaces for meetings, workshops and events across four central London sites: St Pancras, Spitalfields, Covent Garden and Clerkenwell Green. It is led by Founder and Owner Renata Wallace.
The brief
Wallacespace asked MJS Partnership to review how its sales function operated, so the business could keep prospering as clients adapted to more flexible ways of working.
How Jo worked with them
Jo worked hand-in-glove with the senior management team on the sales team’s structure, ways of working, systems and incentives. Together they reorganised how clients are tracked and prioritised, focused the team on the best return on effort through better use of the CRM, restructured incentives with clear paths to promotion and more training, and introduced weekly reporting to the Board.
What’s changed
The sales team has a sharper, clearer focus, and the Board has more visibility of performance and pipeline. The changes were implemented quickly and 2025 started well.
