A Door Closes, Another Opens
March 2026
Pleased to announce the completion of the sale of Queen’s Court in Manchester, a building at the centre of my life for almost two decades.
Bought in 2007 as the headquarters of Sellick Partnership, Queen’s Court soon became far more than a building. It was a home we never realised would become so important to us.
- Three floors of energy in the middle of Manchester.
- A boardroom where big decisions got made. A training room where careers were launched.
- Importantly, a city centre front door that the wider Sellick community genuinely loved walking through.
Manchester gave us everything — the clients, the candidates, the relationships — and Queen's Court held it all together.
Were there ups and downs? Of course. But I loved every minute of it.
To the new owners: I hope it serves you as well as it did us.
My thanks to Will Lewis, Scott Gemmell, Jacob Jolly and Evangeline B. at OBI — for leading the sale, and to Paul Witts at Ridley Thaw LLP, who managed the building for me since purchase in 2007 and led the negotiations. Professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with throughout.
And while selling Queen's Court closes a chapter, it doesn't close the book.
With MJS Partnership and Hike I'm more energised than I've been in years about what we’re building now.
